November 23, 2010/Boston, MA: Attorney George Pappas working in tandem with the PAIR Detention Program in Boston, MA successfully defended an Irish citizen from deportation. Please read the PAIR press release below.

Attorney Pappas represented an Irish citizen before Judge D'Angelo, and his client was granted a 212 (c) waiver after a few months of thorough and intense work with the client. Although the client was not detained, attorney Pappas travelled back and forth from his new location in North Carolina, ending his travels last week when judge D'Angelo issued his decision granting the 212(c) waiver.
This is one of the first pro bono cases and we feel particularly happy for this victory.
